Doraemon is a Japanese cartoon series created by Fujiko F. Fujio.
Doraemon is sent back in time by Nobita's great-great grandson Sewashi to protect him from bullying & poor grades and to improve Nobita's fortune so that his descendants may enjoy a better future.
Doraemon has a fourth-dimensional pocket from which he produces gadgets (Dogu) from future. There are 4500 gadgets featured. Some of the famous dogu's are Bamboo-Copter, and Anywhere Door.
Doraemon can hear perfectly well, but has no ears: his robotic ears were eaten by a mouse, giving him a phobia of mouse.
A majority of Doraemon episodes are comedies with lessons regarding values such as integrity, perseverance, courage, family and respect for elders.
